Hello crafting friends! We’ve been seeing this porch goose frenzy all over our pinterest for awhile now. So, when we found one on clearance of course we hand to pick up not one but two ( because we never do just one of something). One we wanted to keep a goose but the second one we wanted to turn into a flamingo for a certain flamingo fan in our family.

Step 1: Gather your supplies:

Step 2: Paint your first layer of pink paint on your goose. It will look a little crazy at first, this is a trust the process kinda project.

Step 3: We ended up doing 3 coats of pink paint to achieve the vibrant color we were after. We also painted the beak and feet while we were at it. Now it’s starting to look more like a flamingo.

Step 4: Next up we painted her feet a pretty coral color. You could leave them the orange they were but we were going for more of a bright and cheerful look.

Step 5: This step is optional. We used a black paint pen to add the line detail of the flamingo’s beak.

Step 6: Last step is to seal your fresh paint with a clear sealer of your choice. We used our favorite clear spray paint by Rustoeum in semi-gloss. This just ensures that your porch flamingo will withstand the elements.

That’s it! Your porch goose is now a porch flamingo! Isn’t she so fun! Stay tuned to learn how me made some fabulous outfits for our goose and flamingo! Happy crafting everyone!
